"Also, I would like to know the reason behind scheduling the game today, despite that the Egyptian Football Association held a meeting with the top division clubs to discuss the modifications on the overwhelmed schedule of the competitions to reduce the pressure on the clubs."

“Finally, Al Ahly asked to schedule today’s game on any day during the interval period between Al Merrikh SC’s and Simba SC’s games in the CAF Champions League group stage, but our request was not taken into consideration.”
